Aceste reguli se aplica la "Al 12lea Postavaru Night"

1. Caracteristici ale competitiilor CarpathianMan®:

Evenimentele din seria CarpathianMan® sunt competitii outdoor, cu un puternic caracter montan. Traseul este neamenajat si neprotejat, foloseste drumuri publice si drumuri forestiere, poteci marcate si nemarcate, pante cu inclinare mare si zone accidentate, etc.
Diferite segmente ale traseului trec prin zone populate, partii de schi, pajisti, zone impadurite si taieturi, gol alpin (creste, culoare, abrupturi, vai, grohotisuri, pasuni alpine, jnepenisuri, partii de schi, etc.). Toate acestea necesita din partea participantului, experienta si cunostinte speciale, cum ar fi :
    • orice participant sa aiba cel putin o experienta generala despre munte.
    • orice participant sa aiba abilitatea sa parcurga in siguranta un traseu intr-o zona alpina.
    • orice participant ar trebui sa fie indeajuns de experimentat sa parcurga un traseu alpin dificil (ex. un pasaj de corzi fixe).
    • orice participant ar trebui sa aiba un bun simt al directiei in teren montan, chiar si in conditii de vreme rea si vizibilitate redusa. Aceasta inseamna ca fiecare participant sa fie capabil sa foloseasca o harta si informatiile despre trasee pentru a ajunge in siguranta.
    • orice participant ar trebui sa cunoasca regulile de comportament in caz de pericol si urgenta in zona montana.
    • orice participant ar trebui sa dea dovada de fair play si prietenie si sa actioneze in consecinta atunci cand situatia o cere.
    • orice participant ar trebui sa stie si sa aiba o atitudine care sa tina cont de faptul ca oricat de multe masuri de siguranta ar lua organizatorii, nu sunt si nu vor putea fi acoperite toate riscurile rezultate din natura competitilor, mediul si conditiile in care se desfasoara acestea.
    • orice participant trebui sa stie si sa tina cont de faptul ca nici un premiu nu este mai presus de sanatatea si viata lui si/sau a altor participanti si sa actioneze in consecinta atunci cand simte sau obsearva un pericol.

2. Postavaru Night 2018:

2.1. Postavaru Night face parte din seria CarpathianMan®. Este o competitie individuala de schi alpinism si alergare montana. 
2.2. Postavaru Night este si Campionat National de Schi Alpinism - Vertical Race 2018 (pentru cei legitimati la FRAE).
2.3. Postavaru Night conteaza si pentru "Cupa Romaniei la Schi Alpinism 2018" (pentru cei legitimati la FRAE).

3. Traseu : 

3.1. Cursa consta intr-o urcare din Poiana Brasov pana pe vf. Postavaru.
3.2. 
Traseul pentru schi alpinism: start (statia inferioara de telegondola), Sulinar, 
Poiana Ruia, Express, Kanzel, cu sosirea la Cabina Mica (statia superioara) - 2,5 km, dif. nivel +700m. 
3.3. Traseul pentru alergare montanastart (statia inferioara de telegondola), Drumul Rosu, Poiana Ruia, Express, Kanzel, cu sosirea la Cabina Mica (statia superioara) - 4,2 km, dif. nivel +700m.
3.4. Rutele
 pot suferi modificari din diferite motive, care includ conditiile meteo, siguranta, restrictii de circulatie, etc.

3.5. Fiecare participant este obligat sa urmeze traseul oficial si instructiunile oficialilor; nu este permisa folosirea scurtaturilor sau a altor avantaje similare.

4. Categorii :

4.1. Schi alpinism:

  • Feminin:  copii <15 ani; cadete 15-17 ani; junioare 18-20 ani; 21-39 ani; 40-50 ani; +50 ani
  • Masculin: copii <15 ani; cadeti 15-17 ani; juniori 18-20 ani; 21-39 ani; 40-50 ani; +50 ani

4.2. Alergare montana:

  • Feminin:  copii <15 ani; -35 ani; +35 ani
  • Masculin: copii <15 ani; -35 ani; +35 ani 

4.3. Copii sub 15 ani vor participa doar insotiti de unul din parinti / antrenor. 
4.4. Categoriile unde vor fi mai putin de 5 participanti vor putea fi combinate cu o alta categorie la alegerea organizatorului.
4.5. Va fi luata in considerare varsta implinita la data 31.03.2018.
 Exceptie fac categoriile pentru campionatul national, unde varsta luata in considerare este definita de regulamentele FRAE.

5. Echipament : 

5.1. Schi alpinism: 1 per. schiuri, 1 per. legaturi de tura, 1 per. clapari, 1 per. piei de foca, 1 per. bete, lanterna, rucsac, haine de vant (geaca si pantalon), 1 per. manusi, caciula/buff, numar (va fi dat de organizatori).
5.2. Alergare montana:
 lanterna, rucsac / borseta, haine de vant (geaca si pantalon), 1 permanusi, caciula/buff, numar (va fi dat de organizatori).
5.3. Echipamentul poate fi verificat la intrarea in zona de start si la sosire. Lipsa fiecarui material din echipament va fi penalizata cu 2 minute.
Tine-ti cont ca veti participa la o competitie ce se desfasoara noaptea , pe zapada, in zona montana!!!
 

6. Numar de concurs: 

6.1. Numarul de concurs va fi primit in momentul validarii inscrierii, inainte de competitie, dupa ce participantul a completat si semnat formularul de inscriere, declaratia de responsabilitate si a platit contravaloarea participarii.
6.2. Numarul de concurs trebuie purtat in fata si trebuie sa fie vizibil pe toata durata cursei. Logourile plasate pe numar trebuie sa fie vizibile.
6.3. Numarul nu trebuie modificat in niciun fel, nerespectarea acestui lucru atrage dupa sine descalificarea.
6.4. Numarul va da dreptul dupa cursa, la Cabana Postavaru, la o portie din ce ne gateste "tanti Nely".
 

7. Validare inscriere/ Briefing : 

7.1. Validarea inscrierilor va avea loc in ziua competitiei intre orele 17.00 – 19.00.
7.2. Un scurt briefing, unde se vor transmite eventualele noutati si modificari aparute, va avea loc inainte de start.
 

8. Cronometraj : 

Cronometrajul se va face cu un sistem manual, la secunda. Pentru a avea rezultate reale va rugam sa purtati numarul in asa fel incat sa fie vizibil din fata. 

9. Startul : 

9.1. Poiana Brasov31 martie, Club Rossignol (langa telegondola), astfel:

- Schi alpinism - 19.30       
- Alergare montana - 19.35

9.2. Zona de start se deschide cu 10 minute inainte de cursa si se inchide inainte de startul oficial.
9.3. Zona de start va fi impartita astfel:

    sectorul A - participantii inscrisi la schi alpinism, dreapta feminin, stanga masculin
  • sectorul B - participantii inscrisi la alergare montana, dreapta feminin, stanga masculin
9.4. Intrarea in zona de start se va face doar prin poarta de acces.
9.5. Inainte de intrarea in zona de start se va verifica echipamentul si fiecare va fi notat pe foaia de start. Cei care nu sunt notati vor fi considerati absenti de la start si nu vor intra in clasamente.
9.6. Odata intratparticipantul trebuie sa ramana in zona de start.
9.7. 
Startul ramane deschis timp de 5 minute dupa ora oficiala de start. Cei care au pierdut startul si incep cursa in cele 5 minute trebuie sa anunte un oficial de la start. Cronometrarea se va face in acord cu ora oficiala de start.  

10. Puncte de control:

Pe traseu sunt amplasate puncte de control, obligatorii. Participantii care nu trec printr-un punct de control vor fi descalificati. 

11. Sosirea :

Sosirea este la statia superioara de la Cabina Mica.

12. Oprirea / Retragerea din cursa :

12.1. Organizatorul isi rezerva dreptul de-a opri un participant in urmatoarele cazuri :

    • s-a accidentat dupa start, iar starea sa nu-i mai permite continuarea cursei.
    • in cazuri exceptionale.

12.2. Orice participant care nu mai poate sau nu mai vrea sa continue cursa, indiferent de motiv este obligat sa informeze organizatorul imediat la unul din urmatoarele: la arbitrul care insoteste pe ultimul concurent sau la unul din arbitrii de pe traseu. 
12.3. Neanuntarea retragerii din cursa va cauza o operatiune de cautare si salvare (echipe de salvare, salvamont) pe cheltuiala participantului implicat.
12.4. Retragerea poate fi confirmata prin semnatura pe foaia de arbitraj.
12.5. Orice participant care se retrage va fi ajutat cu privire la cea mai buna varianta de retragere dar este responsabil pentru deplasarea proprie, ruta pe care o va folosi si actiunile ulterioare momentului si locului retragerii, exceptie facand cazurile grave care nu permit deplasarea prin propriile mijloace.

13. Clasamente/Premii :

13.1. Vor fi intocmite clasamente si se vor acorda premii primilor trei clasati de la fiecare categorie.
13.2. Toti cei care au terminat cursa isi vor putea descarca diploma de participare de pe www.carpathianman.ro, sectiunea Postavaru Night.

14. Conservarea naturii :

Evenimentele CarpathianMan se desfasoara in unele din cele mai frumoase zone din Romania. Lasarea de resturi, ambalaje, echipament, etc. pe parcursul traseului si/sau distrugerea deliberata a mediului inconjurator va atrage dupa sine descalificarea.

15. Suporteri/ Ajutor :

15.1. Suporterii pot incuraja orice competitor cu conditia sa respecte regulile, indicatiile autoritatiilor si/sau ale oficialilor si sa nu impiedice desfasurarea competitiei.
15.2. Pe parcursul traseului nu este permis nici un ajutor venit din exterior (suporter, spectator, vehicul in miscare, etc.), exceptie facand cazurile deosebite.
15.3. Asistenta intre concurenti este permisa. Prin asistenta se intelege sustinerea cu apa, alimente, accesorii, etc. 

16. Alte reguli :

16.1. Postavaru Night foloseste ca traseu de concurs urmatoarele si nu numai: drumuri forestiere, poteci turistice amenajate si neamenajate, partii de schi, pajisti, paduri, taieturi, gol alpin, creste.
16.2. Traseul de concurs nu este inchis altor participanti la trafic (snowmobile, vehicule, schiori, snowborderi, turisti, animale si altii). Acest fapt atrage asupra participantilor, obligatia de a respecta regulile. Orice accident provocat si/sau in care au fost implicati participanti la Postavaru Night, survenit in timpul desfasurarii acestuia din nerespectarea regulilor de concurs va fi in responsabilitatea celor implicati in accident.
16.3. Orice competitor trebuie sa dea dovada de fair play si sa permita unui concurent mai rapid sa treaca in fata sa fara a-l obstructiona, sa acorde asistenta unui competitor aflat in dificultate si care ii solicita aceasta.
16.
4. Traseul este neamenajat si neprotejat, de aceea exista un risc de ranire si/sau deces din pericole obisnuite pentru competitiile outdoor. Acestea includ si nu se rezuma doar la: coliziuni cu vehicule, schiori, pietre, stanci, copaci, oameni, alte obiecte; caderi, alunecari, rani provocate de frig, hipotermie, degeraturi, rau de altitudine, caderi de pietre, avalanse de zapada, pietre si/sau pamant, viituri, furtuni, animale, incendii, efort fizic.

17. Penalizari :

    • scurtarea traseului = descalificare
    • doping = descalificare
    • nerespectarea mediului înconjurator = descalificare
    • schimbarea / distrugerea numarului de concurs = descalificare
    • nerespectarea regulilor competitiei = descalificare
    • lipsa de fair play fata de alti participanti, oficiali, public, etc. = descalificare
    • primirea de asistenta, ajutor din afara = 60 minute
    • lipsa unui articol din echipamentul obligatoriu = 2 minute/obiect

Declaratiile oficialilor, fotografiile si imaginile video constituie probe de care juriul poate sa tina seama in cazul in care regulile competitiei au fost incalcate. Orice alta abatere va fi subiect de decizie pentru juriul cursei. Taxa de participare nu se ramburseaza in cazul descalificarii.

18. Contestatii :

18.1. Orice participant poate face o contestatie impotriva altui participant care nu a respectat regulile competitiei sau impotriva deciziilor oficialilor.
18.2. Contestatia scrisa impreuna cu o taxa de 200 lei se vor depune la oficiul de cursa in maxim 15 minute de la afisarea rezultatelor complete provizorii. Rezolvarea contestatiei se va face in urmatoarele 15 minute.
18.3. Taxa de contestatie va fi inapoiata petentului, daca contestatia va fi acceptata.

Prin inscriere, plata si participare fiecare participant confirma ca a citit, inteles si acceptat conditiile de participare si aceste reguli, isi asuma riscurile participarii la Postavaru Night si sunt responsabili pentru propriile actiuni care ar trebui sa tina cont de circumstante relevante ca: schimbarea vremii, conditiile meteo si de zapada, zona in care se afla si echipamentul pe care il foloseste.

Pentru sportivii legitimati la schi alpinism acest regulament va fi completat cu "Schi Alpinism - Reguli sportive FRAE 2018" 

 

These rules apply to "The 12th Postavaru Night" 

1. Main characteristics of CarpathianMan®competitions: 

CarpathianMan®event series are outdoor competitions with a strong mountain character. The routes are unprotected and unimproved; they can use public roads and forest trails marked and unmarked, high inclination slopes and rough areas, etc.
Different segments of the routes pass through populated areas, ski slopes, meadows, wooded areas and cuts, alpine terrain (ridges, steep slopes, valleys, scree, alpine meadows, juniper trees, etc.). All this requires that the participant should have experience and special skills such as:

  • All participants must have at least one general experience regarding mountains.
  • All participants should be able to cover, in safety conditions, a route in an alpine area.
  • All participants should be experienced enough to cover a difficult alpine route (eg.a passage with fixed ropes).
  • All participants should have a good sense of orientation in mountainous terrain, even in bad weather conditions and poor visibility. This means that each participant should be able to use a map and the information about the routes in order to reach a place in safety.
  • All participants should have basic 6 about how to react in case of dangerous situations, which might appear in the mountains.
  • All participants should show fair play and friendship and act accordingly when the situation requires it.
  • All participants should know and have an attitude that takes into account the fact that although the organizers take all the safety measures, they are not and will not be able to cover all the risks that result from the nature of competitions, environment and conditions in which these evolve.
  • All participants should know and take into account the fact that no award is more important than their own health and life and the one of other participants and they should act accordingly when they feel or observe a danger.
2. Postavaru Night 2018: 
2.1.     PN is a competition from the CarpathianMan® series. It is a ski mountaineering and mountain running, individual race. 
2.2.     PN is the Vertical Race National Championship (for those registered at RMCF)
2.3.     PN is part of the Ski Mountaineering Romanian Cup 2017 (for those registered at RMCF)
 
3. The Route: 
3.1.    The race consists of an uphill from Poiana Brasov to Postavaru Peak. 
3.2.    The route for ski mountaineeringStart (lower station of the gondola), Sulinar, Poiana Ruia, Express, Kanzel and arrival at the upper station of Little Cable Car) - 2,5 km, diff. +700m.
3.3.    The route for mountain running: Start (lower station of the gondola), Drumul Rosu (Red Road), Poiana Ruia, Express, Kanzel and arrival at the upper station of Little Cable Car) - 4,2 km, diff. +700m. 
3.4.    The route may suffer changes from various reasons, which include weather conditions, safety measures, traffic restrictions, etc. 
3.5.    Each competitor is obliged to follow the official route and the referee's instructions; they are not allowed to use shortcuts or other similar advantages. 
 
4. Categories: 
4.1.     Ski mountaineering: 
  • women: children <15 years; cadet 15-17 years; junior 18-20 years, 21-39 years, 40-50 years, +50 years
  • men:   children <15 years; cadet 15-17 years; junior 18-20 years, 21-39 years, 40-50 years, +50 years

4.2.    Mountain running: 

  • women: children <15 years; -35 years; +35 years
  • men: children <15 years; -35 years; +35 years
4.3.    The children under 15 years can take part in the race if there are accompanied by one of the parents / trainer. 
4.4.    The categories with less than 5 participants, there can be combined with another category at the organizer's choice.
 
4.5.    For placing the participant in a certain category it will be taken into consideration the age that he has attained by 31.03.2018. 
 
5. Equipment: 
5.1.   Ski mountaineering: 1 pair of skis with ski tour bindings, 1 pair of ski boots, 1 pair of skins, 1 pair of poles, flashlight, backpack, windstopper upper and lower clothes, 1 pair of gloves, cap/buff, race number (the last is given by the organizer). 
5.2.    Mountain running: flashlight, backpack, windstopper and lower clothes, 1 pair of gloves, cap/buff, race number (the last is given by the organizer). 
5.3.   The equipment can be checked at the entrance of the start area and on arrival. Lack of each item of equipment will be penalized by 2 min. 
Keep in your mind, this is a competition that takes place at night, in a mountain area, in winter and the  weather can change very quickly!!! 
 
6. Race number:
6.1.    The race number will be received in the moment of the registration validation, before the competition, after the participant has completed and signed the application form, the responsibility statement and paid the registration fee.
6.2.    The race number must be worn and be visible throughout the race. Logos placed on the number must be visible. 
6.3.    The number must not be cut or modified in any way. Defying this rule will mean disqualification. 
6.4.    The race number will give you the right to receive at Postavaru hut, after the race, a portion of what Miss Nely will cook! 
 
7. Validation / Briefing: 
7.1.    The validation of the registrations will take place between 5:00PM and 7:00PM, in the race day. 
7.2.     A briefing, in which will be announced the updates and changes that have emerged, will take place before the start. 
 
8. Timing:
The timing will be made by a manual system. In order to have real results we ask you to wear the race number to be seen from the front. 
 
9. The Start: 
9.1.    Poiana Brasov, 31 march, Club Rossignol (next to gondola lower station):
- ski mountaineering - 7.30 PM
- mountain running - 7.35 PM 
9.2.    The start area opens 15 minutes before therace and closes before the official start. 
9.3.    The start area will be divided as follows: 
  • Sector A - the competitors registered in ski mountaineering race, right side women categories, left side men categories
  • Sector B – the competitors registered in mountain running race, right side women categories, left side men categories
9.4.    The entrance in the start area will be made only through the access gates. 
9.5.    Upon entering the start area, the equipment and each racer will be checked on the start sheet. Those who did not sign the sheet will be considered absent from the start and will not be ranked. 
9.6.    Once inside, the competitor must remain in the start area. 
9.7.    The start will remain open for 5 minutes after the official start time. Those who lost the start and will begin their race within these 5 minutes must notify the officials, the clock timing will be according to the official start hour. 
 
10. Checkpoints: 
On the route there are mandatory checkpoints. The participants who do not pass through a checkpoint (for whatever reason) will be disqualified. 
 
11. Arrival: 
The arrival is at the top station of Little Cable Car. 
 
12. Stop / Withdrawal from the race: 
12.1.   The organizer reserves the right to stop a participant in the following cases: 
- is injured after the start and is no longer in power to continue the race.
- in exceptional cases. 
12.2.   Any participant who doesn't want or can't continue the race for any reason must inform the organizer immediately at one of the following places: to the judge who follow the last racer or at the other judges. 
12.3.   Not announcing the withdrawal from the race can release a search and rescue operation (rescue team, mountain rescue) and the expense will supported by the involved participant. 
12.4.   The withdrawal can be confirmed by signature on the race sheet. 
12.5.   Any participant who wants to retire will be helped in finding the best option to withdraw, but it is responsible for his/her own transportation, the route that he will use and subsequent actions after withdrawing. An exception will make those cases which are serious and do not allow any movement by its own means. 
 
13. Rankings / Awards: 
13.1.   Rankings will be drawn and prizes will be awarded for the first three finishers in each category. 
13.2.   Those that complete the race can download their diploma from www.carpathianman.ro, section Postavaru Night
 
14. Nature conservation: 
CarpathianMan® events are held in some of the most beautiful mountain regions of Romania. Leaving debris, packaging, equipment, along the routes and / or deliberate destruction of the environment will entail disqualification. 
 
15. Supporters / Help: 
15.1.   The supporters can encourage verbally any competitor as long as they respect the rules, the instructions given by the authorities and / or officials and do not obstruct the competition. 
15.2.   On the route of Postavaru Night, any help from outside it is not allowed (supporters, spectators, moving vehicles, etc..), except special cases. 
15.3.   Assistance between competitors is allowed during the race. By assistance we mean supporting with water, food, accessories, etc. 
 
16. Other rules: 
16.1.   The Postavaru Night route use the following: ski slopes, forest roads, marked and unmarked trails, forests, clearings, alpine terrain, debris, steep valleys, ridges. 
16.2.   The route is not closed to other traffic participants (snow machine, vehicles, skiers, snowboarders, tourists, animals and others). This entails that the participants must observe and obey the rules. Any accident caused by or where is involved a race participant occurred during the competition from violating the race rules shall be the responsibility of the person involved in the accident. 
16.3.   Any participant must show fair play and allow a competitor who is faster to move in front without obstructing him, to give assistance when a competitor is in difficulty. 
16.4.   The route is unimproved and unprotected, so there is a risk of injury and / or death due to the threats common to outdoor competitions. These include and are not limited to: collision with vehicles, skiers, stones, rocks, trees, people and other objects, falls, slips, injuries caused by cold, hypothermia, frostbites, altitude sickness, snow, rock and/or soil avalanches, floods, storms, animals, fire, physical exercise. 
 
17. Penalties: 
- shortening the route                                                          = Disqualification 
- doping                                                                             = Disqualification 
- defying the environment rules                                              = Disqualification 
- changing/destroying the race number                                    = Disqualification 
- receiving assistance from outside                                         = 60 minutes 
- defying the competition rules                                                = Disqualification 
- lack of fair play to the other participants, officials, public, etc.  = Disqualification 
- lack of an article from the required equipment                         = 2 minutes / item 
Officials statements, photos and videos are evidence that the jury may take into account if competition rules have been violated.Any other offence it will be under competition jury decision. The participation fee will not be refunded if a racer was disqualified. 
 
18. Appeals: 
18.1.  Any participant can make a complaint against another participant who failed to comply with the competition rules or against the decisions of the officials. 
18.2.  The written appeal, along with a fee of 200 lei, will be submitted to the race office within 15 minutes after posting the interim final results. The appeal will be solved in the next 15 minutes. 
18.3.  The appeal fee will be returned to the applicant, if the appeal will be accepted. 
 
By signing up, paying and participating to the event, each competitor confirms having read, understood, accepted the terms of participation and assumes the risks of participating at the Postavaru Night. She/he is responsible for her/his actions which should take into account relevant circumstances such as changing weather, weather and snow conditions, area where it is and equipment which it use. 
For ski mountaineering licensed athletes this regulation will be completed with "Ski Mountaineering - Sports Rules FRAE 2018"
